I was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio. I received my education from Ursuline College where I obtained a bachelors and a masters degree of science in nursing. I worked as a registered nurse at MetroHealth Medical Center for four years in medical- surgical nursing before transitioning into a nurse practitioner at the hospital. My certification is in family medicine. For four years I practiced in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specializing in chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. I am fortunate to live my life’s purpose, which is simply to be useful to others. Educating and helping others live healthier lives brings me joy and is the reason I chose to become a healthcare provider.
My lifestyle started to evolve and my passion for wellness grew after battling a severe and chronic skin condition for over 13 years. Many doctor visits and taking large amounts of antibiotics and steroids only masked my symptoms. The flare ups and battle continued. This eventually inspired me to research natural plant-based options which has changed my life and the way that I view health.
Anything that allows me to learn, evolve, and grow from inspires me!
