Dr. Andrew J. Kender III D.C. is well-versed when it comes to the holistic approach to healthcare. He is a native of Dayton, Ohio and is passionate about spreading the message of “Optimal Function” in his home state. Dr. Kender is MTHFR certified and has been BCIA trained in neurofeedback.
After completing an Environmental Science undergraduate degree at “The” Ohio State University, Dr. Kender went on to earn his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.. In 2010, he earned a scholarship to play rugby while at Life and went on to win a D1 Men’s Rugby National Title in 2008.
Dr. Kender’s Chiropractic career began in 2010, in Atlanta, Georgia and since then he has practiced in clinics through the North and South returning to Ohio, his parents and siblings, and Functional Endocrinology of Ohio in 2014. His practice style embodies the holistic philosophy and he considers health to be a balance of physical, emotional, and chemical components.
Dr. Kender and his wife have 2 little boys - a toddler and a newborn. You most often will find them at the local National Parks getting exercise on the hiking trails here in Northeast Ohio. They both share a passion for animals and have two dogs and a cat.
Dr. Kender’s interests include holistic living, cooking, sports, music, art, environmental studies, building/crafting and being one with nature.
